Whitespace character (2) in Xcode

Ok, sorry. I must say that the 'shift' button got stuck for a while when writing 'Xcode', and it ended up saying 'XCode'. I guess I need to contact Apple support to check this strange behavior in my MacBook Pro keyboard. :-)

Anyway, here goes the question again.

I saw in the Xcode menu that there is an option to show whitespace characters (View-->Text-->Spaces) as a diamond. Is there any way to change it so that it shows any other glyph? A vertical aligned dot, for example.
