shift-command-R, cool but...

I really like the new Shift-Command-R feature in IB that lets me run the
project from Xcode directly from within IB (not in "simulation" but "for
real"). But when I press Shift-Command-R in IB, why doesn't Xcode come to
the front? This is particularly important if it has any messages for me,
like that I have to save some files before I can build and run.
