This is great for *me*, and I'm grateful for the advice. I'll try it!
A further problem, thought, is that I need to teach rank beginners how to
use Xcode/IB, so there won't be a custom template on their machine. I guess
what I'm thinking is that however the custom template works is how the
default template should work... m.
