I've just received a documentation update (version 201.1 of the Core Reference Library and 202.1 of the Developer Tools Reference, date 2007-12-13).

(I used Update Document Sets Now, maybe someone else can confirm that the automatic updates is working)

My Xcode doc sets are still dated October 31, 2007 or older (versions 201
for Core Reference Library and 202 for Developer Tools Reference).

From time to time I've chosen Check Now and Update All Documentation Sets
Now from the gadget menu in the Xcode Documentation window, and I have it
set to update automatically daily.

But nothing happens.

Is this because Apple hasn't released any doc set updates for this mechanism
yet? Or is something wrong?
