starting yesterday: everytime i type a '(' xcode beeps with every char stroke until i type ')'
apprarently i switched the 'please beep until i close parenthesis' option on or so
can anyone tell me how to switch this off (other than turning the volumen down?)
The few times we've heard of this it's been due to having the same file open in a different window, and having the insertion point in that window set immediately to the left of a balanced delimiter at the end of the file.
Close the other window on the file, or set the selection in it to a different place, and the beeping should cease.
