Still looking for help getting Xcode to work with D language files (.d)

  • Subject: Still looking for help getting Xcode to work with D language files (.d)

I've seen 1.5 customization plugins that half-work on 2.4.1, but I'd sure like to know what the "right" way is to add configuration to Xcode to support another language and compiler. I've been able to compile the programs, but since Xcode won't treat the .d extension as a source file, it won't let me set breakpoints on it (there's a patch for gdb to allow it to debug D).

Can someone point me in the right direction? Ideally, I'd like to write a .xcplugin for D (assuming that contains everything Xcode needs). Perhaps language-specific config is placed elsewhere.

Thanks!
