I'm getting so many errors where I modify an internal file, let's say script file that needs to be bundled inside my app, and the debugged executable doesn't contain the new script but the old script :(
Solution is to delete the actual target, or delete the script inside the bundle.
But it's annoying, and wastes time, and error prone. I tend to forget it every now and then.
Any way to get Xcode to automate this proces by checking the modified date on dependencies.
Can you be more specific about your project setup?
- This script file. How is it copied? Copy Files build phase? Run Script build phase? Custom rule? - Is it a project member or is it in a "blue folder" (folder reference) that is a project member? - Does the whole build phase get skipped, or just the file in question? |
