Probably not necessary, since Apache is always installed. (Unless you're requiring a more recent version.)


The documentation doesn't seem
to cover where in an application bundle I would place non-resource,
non-framework, non-plugin, not-mac-at-all stuff.

Either "Mac OS X" or "Resources" sounds plausible to me.

If it is ok to do this, is
there a way to get xcode include my essentially arbitrary data in the final
bundle? Adding the folder under resources had the effect of flattening the
entire tree structure.

Did you include it as a folder reference?
