I'm running the latest version of Xcode on Tiger and whenever
there are errors and warnings in the project I build, I can't see
any corresponding bullets in the gutter of source files.
The errors are correctly listed in the build window and correctly
point to the right section of the code but the bullets are gone.
I had a look at the Xcode preferences (which I didn't change
before this problem appeared) and have not seen any settings that
would prevent the display of bullets.
Any idea?
If your source files are not direct descendants of the folder that
contain your project, but are instead in a path that is "up and
over" from the project file (e.g. ../src/mySource.cp), this is a
known problem in Xcode 2.x that has been fixed in an upcoming release.
Yes, this is my case. I guess I just have to wait for the next
release to see the bullets back then.
Thanks for the information.
