I am struggling with this same issue. Has anybody figured this out
yet? Is nibtool just hard coded to only work with certain values, or
is it flexible enough to work with custom palettes?

Hi,
I've based my palette on the BusyPalette sample code but I've noted
the
additional text in the sample ('RandomString') also is not included
in the
nibtool output.
Is there any way to get these additional texts into the output?
