Well, if you google you come up with one hit:

which if you start looking on that page for the search term then you end up reading about the FSEvents.framework which might be new to Leopard. Did you have this file system open on a system running leopard? Maybe a Dual Boot? I would guess you can delete the folder.. but that is just a guess.
