"[An internet enabled disk image] improves the manual install experience by performing a few tedious tasks for the user."
In the case of this particular app, I have to agree. The user expectes "MyProduct.app", right? With an internet enabled image, she will find this in the default download location. I would think, as expected.
But, "Mungo only pawn in game of life", I am glad to listen to arguments telling me that internet enabled images are a work of the devil. So, if you wish to expand, please do.
