My earlier two replies are awaiting moderator's approval as they were

I can't see the underlying symbol for a setting. That is,
previously, if I was at the "Current Project Version" row, I would
see a short description at the bottom of that window which mentioned
CURRENT_PROJECT_VERSION and I could copy that for use elsewhere. I
also found it more convenient to be able to edit the value directly
instead of having to use a dialog. Can I change these behaviors
somehow?
You can control click on the build setting in the inspector to get a
context menu item which allows you to alternatively show setting title/
name or definition/value in the inspector.
