Thanks for the quick reply. I just noticed I said 10.5 when I meant 10.4.. how embarassing.
I have tried the Installation on the DVD. I see the same problem. At first I thought it was a problem with the DVD.
Any other ideas?

Try installing the copy of Xcode that came with your computer (it'll
be on the install disks).
