Alex,
How did you get xCode 3 and 2.5 running together ?
I managed to get xCode 3 to build for 10.2.8, but I get a symbol error
actually running the app on 10.2.8 - So I'd like to do my final build
in xCode 2.5 on 10.5 -
But I installed xCode 2.5 on a copy of 10.5 and that completely blew
my system up, xCode would not launch and I could no longer run the
xCode 3.0 installer (it kept crashing) to reinstall xCode 3...
So do you pick a special folder to install xCode 2.5 into or is there
some other trick?
If anyone can give a definitive answer as to if it possible to build
apps that will run on 10.2.8 from xCode 3 that would also be helpful.
ps, I've installed the 10.2.8 sdk and gcc 3.3 and that all worked fine
for me with xCode 3, but the resulting app would only run on 10.3 and
higher if I build the exact same project on xCode 2.5 it runs fine....

No need to give up Xcode 3!
We use 3 and 2.5 in parallel, Xcode 2.5 is used for the deployment
builds
