Xcode 2.5 developer tools will be a separate download from ADC that
will be made available after Leopard ships. Sorry about being vague
about exactly when, but I can't talk about specific dates for
unreleased products :(
I will say that we realize the value of having Xcode 2.5 out soon
after Leopard is publicly available.

Alex,
Thanks for the comment. So, should I assume that Xcode 2.5 will be
on the
Leopard disk or available on ADC immediately (like tonight or this
weekend)?
I got the impression from Scott's comment that Xcode 2.5 will be made
available as in "will be" like referring to eventually.

Scott -- OK, so Xcode 2.4+ is not supported on Leopard. Is the
expectation
that everyone upgrade to Xcode 3 with the Leopard upgrade? I can't
remember what I did the last time (with Tiger).
No, as Scott says, you can stay with Xcode 2.5 on Leopard if you
desire.
But as Xcode 2.5 and 3.0 can coexist peacefully on one system --
Chris mentioned this -- you have a much more gentle path than ever
before. It is one of the great new features.
