At 6pm PDT today Apple will officially release Mac OS X 10.5
"Leopard," the latest update to the operating system software for
Macintosh computers.
The Leopard DVD includes a disk image file for the Xcode 3.0 Developer
Tools, a major upgrade to the Xcode tools suite. These tools require
Mac OS X 10.5.
I am still awaiting word on how and when ADC members will receive
their final copies of Leopard and Xcode 3.0, and will let you know
when I hear.
In a few minutes I'll be posting the Release Note for Xcode 3.0, which
outlines its compatibility, features, enhancements, and known issues.
At that point the xcode-users list will be open to discussion of Xcode
3.0.
Regards,
Chris Espinosa
