I do. And as such, a customer is allowed to say 'it should work like
product Foo or it's broken'. An when a customer says that, I'm
expected to figure out myself what product Foo does that the one I'm
working on doesn't. The onus is upon me, not the customer. Remember
the customer?
SCM integration isn't something new, or rare, or
not-understood-too-well. It's been around a while. And to expect a
customer to document the 50 things SCM integration can do in Eclipse
isn't reasonable; I'm not paid to do the analysis & requirements
documentation. And, fair enough, I can't expect you to rip it out of
XCode. :-} But I have every right as a customer to expect you to do
the research required to know if your product is competitive in that
market segment.
And when it comes to SCM, XCode simply isn't
