.#_XCSCM_ files?

  • Subject: .#_XCSCM_ files?

I just noticed that a bunch of images in my app's help book now start with ".#_XCSCM_" instead of their normal name. A wild guess says that Xcode changed them as part of SCM. (I don't know how long it's been like this.)

The help book isn't actually checked in, however.

Is this actually something Xcode does? Is it a bug, or some sequence of steps I should avoid?
