Static library public symbols

  • Subject: Static library public symbols

I'm trying to see what the public symbols are for a static library that I have created. (Yes, I should know what they are. But I'm trying to get a tool to tell me anyway. :-)

I tried using otool, but didn't get anything useful.
Checking "Write Link Map File" does nothing when I build the library.
man libtool doesn't show anything interesting.
man ld says it takes a -map option, but I can't feed it an archive and get anything out of it.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks,
Rush
