User Header Search Path trouble

XCode 3.1

Hi,

I'm having a strange problem with User Header Search Paths. I'm working with
a project that used to compile fine with a couple user header search paths
defined in the project settings. Then I moved the defines to the target
settings so I could make them target-specific, and now I get an error that
some header files from these paths can't be found.

I've triple-checked the paths and they look fine, and have moved the defines
out of the target settings back into the project settings (and have cleaned
targets several times), but now it's still not finding the header files,
even though it used to find them.

I've made sure the option to always search user paths is selected.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is making me a little nuts!

Cheers,
Michael
