CPU time doing some stupid work on a generation of snapshots even if nothing is being done and the project is just opened, other quarter of time was wasted by the garbage collector itself. The same happens when using xcodebuild to build our project.

xcodebuild doesn't use GC.

Your slowdown is elsewhere and your ire is misdirected.

As Jens said, file a bug via http://bugreporter.apple.com/ with, at least, samples attached.
