And what append if you remove the two iPhone plateforms ? And then what append if you remove the Mac OS X plateform ?

Info.plist are well-formed, but have you check if all of them contains a valid Indentifier key ?

/Developer/Platforms $ ls
MacOSX.platform iPhoneOS.platform iPhoneSimulator.platform

I did, and the Info.plists opened up and validated. I used "Plist Edit Pro".

I guees Plateform are description of the plateform you target for your dev (currently iPhone or Mac OS X), not the plateform you are running.

Can you tell us what you have in the /Developer/Plateforms directory.

And check also each .plateform directory in this folder to see if it contains a valid Info.plist.

This was just opening Xcode!!!!!! after a fresh install. I did try removing the ~/Library/Preferences but did the same thing.
I think Xcode is confused as to what platform it is on b/c of the '<unknown>'. Does anyone know how to set up what platform it is?

Was this seen when opening an Xcode project? Just Xcode itself? If the former did you try with a newly created project?

Anyway try removing the com.apple.Xcode.plist (IIRC) found under ~/Library/Preferences (save the file, if it is that cause Apple would maybe want to know what is bad about it).
