Yeah, the QTKit plugin was broken in IB 3.0, and I'm not too
surprised if it wasn't fixed in 3.1. The palette that comes with
Xcode 2.5 works, however.
If there is no movie set for the movie view, the QTMovieView does not
show a controller, regardless of whether the property is or is not
set. You should be able to see the controller bar show and hide
according to the checkbox if you select a movie for the view to use.
If you have a QTMovieView in your app and programmatically show/hide
the controller, you'll notice that it does not display unless there is
a movie set for the view.
