Aha, the price I paid for turning off automatic subscription updates! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Two hundred and thirty two megabytes later, I have the missing man pages.

John,

The lack of man pages was an issue before, but they've been restored in the latest docset updates, so make sure that you've downloaded all the latest versions.

I'm just starting to make the transition from Xcode 2.5 to Xcode 3.1. I'm finding some differences in the documentation viewer; as a creature of habit, I naturally want what's familiar from Xcode 2.5

In Xcode 2.5, the documentation viewer includes the UNIX man pages; in Xcode 3.1, the man pages are not included. Is my Xcode 3.1 configured incorrectly? Is there a way for me to add the man pages to Xcode 3.1?

Also, while I'm griping: The documentation that I *can* read with the Xcode 3.1 doc viewer always appears with the TOC showing. Can I *hide* the TOC by default? And, just to be completely grumpy, once I get the doc sets that I want, can I completely hide that left- hand column?

Thanks for humoring me.
