I guess it's analogous, if you are targeting non-Mac platforms. If you have any sage advice I will certainly listen.


I am not sure if there are specific OpenStep issues, which is also very improtant to know.

that are important, such as certain build settings and the like? Other
than the obvious, such as avoiding AppKit, of course.


My idea would be to build a product as a foundation tool, then after
mostly debugged convert the project to a make file, then compile under
Linux (and debug some more).
