Hi koko,

Gouri has got you going in the right direction for using Xcode. However, if you are taking a class, you will probably want to use whatever tool your instructor expects you to use. If the instructor is expecting you to create a makefile on some version of *NIX, turning in an Xcode project probably isn't going to get you any points. If they expect you to use Xcode, then they would probably have explained how to set up a project. There will also be compiler differences so you will want to make sure any code you set up on OS X will compile cleanly on the system they are going to test it on.

Hope that helps,
Aaron
