code sense index python (xcode 3)

hi,

i have a python project that i wanted to edit using xcode. the release notes for xcode 3.0 state that code sense works with python:

'Syntax Coloring, Code Focus, Code Folding, and Code Sense Completion work with dozens of text file types supported by Xcode: C, C++, Objective-C, Objective-C++, Rez, Property Lists, XML, HTML, Perl, Python, Ruby, Fortran, and others.'

but why xcode doesn't build an index for python symbols. this results in _very_ bad completions suggestions and makes code completion virtually useless.

did i miss something or is that how xcode supports python development at the moment?

cheers
till backhaus
