The key difference between the install experience of Xcode 2.5 on
Tiger versus Xcode 2.5 on Leopard, is that in the Leopard case,
nothing gets installed into the base system (or, at least, nothing
should get installed into the base system), everything should get
installed under /Xcode2.5 (or wherever the user decided to place the
Xcode directory).
Sounds like the descriptive text in the Xcode 2.5 installer on Leopard
is out of sync with this.

Well, I have just run it on Leopard, this option still appears, and it
still behaves as I described.
If it's not going to work properly, then the option should be removed
when run on Leopard.
I also don't see WHY it doesn't function on Leopard, after all Xcode
3.0
provides the same compiler set just fine. It even works through Xcode
2.5 if you also install Xcode 3.0.
