Hey Nick -
Until we minimize the diffs, you can use 'Save As…' and then use the
file format pop up to choose NIB 2.x.
Hopefully we'll be able to reduce the diffs to a level that is
acceptable to you soon -

IB 3 supports a new nib format that uses a "designable.nib" file
rather than classes.nib and info.nib, and it's driving me nuts,
since IB apparently overwrites a good deal of the file each time a
nib is saved, which gets really expensive in our SCM system, even
for small changes. I want to change these nibs to the older classes/
info format to reduce the cost of checking in changes...
