MAC OS native 3rd party software update mechanism

Hi everyone,

I'm developing a software for Windows and Linux and am using binary diffs and our update
mechanism for updating the apps.

No I would like to move also to MAC and I wonder if there is some MAC- native Software Update capable of updating third party applications (best would be from binary diffs).

I can for sure use my mechanism, but I want to use as mach from MAC OS as possible
to fit in MAC OS culture and user experience.

I've read something about Software Update and if I understood right, it can update only
software considered to be part of the OS itself.

Thanks a lot,

Jakub
