I am using XCode 3.1 and am comparatively new to using XCode full- time, though, the rest of the team I work with have been using it for a long time now. My big bugbear with XCode is the speed of the brute. 2.4 GHz, 2 G, 2 Cores and everything is slow. It is at times like crawling through treacle. Simple things like opening a file are slow, editing text in a largish file is, well, sluggish.

I've used Xcode on similarly specced systems, and I've had no speed problems with it on Intel Macs, only some slow typing problems on PPC Macs (and that was in the last version). Have you tried running it in 64-bit mode if applicable?
