However - code signing specific to iPhone development is a part of the iPhone SDK NDA. Non-disclosure (meaning you will not talk about any aspect of it is a contract between you and apple ) to not discuss the development of such applications, or processes involved with application production / development etc.

Plus deployment is also an aspect of development so that is more than likely NDA'ed as well.

I would have posted the "Definition" section of the NDA here, that basically defines, what the term SDK includes,
but unfortunately the NDA is under NDA itself. Otherwise we could discuss if code signing of iPh*** (rule 1 in the iPh*** club: don't talk about the iP***) applications is under NDA, too.

I know this is the wrong place to discuss, but seriously - this damn NDA became absolutely ridiculous, counter-productive and obsolete.
Seriously: The whole scene bursts into laughter about this NDA! ( Instead of many, just one example: http://fuckingnda.com/ )

This damn NDA interferes our work!
File bugs, and annoy WWDR until they kick some executives ass in order to lift it.
This NDA is probably the even bigger fiasco, than the MobileMe launch - where is the NDA status blog, Steve?

I don't even think that the NDA is still active on purpose. There is nothing the NDA could protect.
All those iPh*** hackers out there already blogged about every single aspect of the OS!
It just looks like complete missmanagement and because WWDR can't decide themselves (and no executive told otherwise so far) it's still in place.

Probably WWDR is as much annoyed as we are - they have to stand all those angry dev's every day.
