Interface Builder - Deleting Menus

Hi All,

XCode 3, Leopard 10.5.3

In Interface Builder, By default a menu bar ware created for me all. It has File, Edit, etc, etc

How can I remove all the menus except the Application Menu? I dont need any of the rest, except Help.

I tried Edit -> Delete in IB, but no dies. Right click produces no option, etc, etc
