OK, I give up!

I just cannot get my MacPro to distribute builds (using distcc) over the default Bonjour network to other COMPATIBLE Intel Macs on our local network. I only get 4 simultaneous compiles (which just occupy my Pro's own 4 cores). Prefs look good from within Xcode on the Pro - I see two other compatible Macs with distributed builds ON, but nothing gets sent out. I've even tried turning off the Mac OS X firewall.

Also, when I check with Activity Monitor - no distcc processes ever start up! I do see the distccd's there, and the MacPro appears to service other compatible distributed build machines, but it's ONE DIRECTIONAL. Grrrrrrrr.

Any ideas?
