If you update the SDK documentation on your Portable ICBM, then the
pop-up will fail to work there as well.
The pop-up button does not work/appear on the new releases of the
documentation.

On my personal MB Pro, the main pane of the documentation window has
a "function" pop-up similar to that in the editor, so that when I
view the documentation for a Cocoa class, I can navigate to a
specific method via the pop-up. I use it all the time.
However, on my Mac Pro at work, the menu is missing from my
documentation window. Everything else looks the same, and the
documentation is being fetched from the same path (as indicated by
command-click on the doc window title).
I can't find a setting for this in preferences or user defaults.
Both machines are up-to-date with Leopard and Xcode 3.
