Can't macro expand source code project template files

  • Subject: Can't macro expand source code project template files

When I was using Mac OS X 10.4, I created a project template for Xcode 2. For the most part it was pretty straight forward. The most difficult thing to deal with was macro substitution within the NIB file.

I am now trying to update this template to be more compatible with features Xcode 3. This time I have elected to use the XIB format, which make macro substitution a lot easier. Everything is working fine except for the fact that no macro substitution is occurring for the created source code files. I don't know why this is as it was easy to do when I did the Xcode 2 template, so I wasn't expecting any problems.

What is likely needed to fix this problem with macro expansion in the source code files?
