I installed Xcode 2.5 and CHUD 4.5.0. Several weeks later I tried to
install Xcode 3.0 alongside 2.5. I used the default locations for
everything. The installer for 3.0 complained that it could not write
certain files - I think the problem was triggered by the presence of some
CHUD support files in the System directory. I ran the CHUD uninstaller, and
then ran the Xcode 3.0 installer again, and it completed without problems.

This was on a Mac Pro running OS X 10.5.1
