I just built a basic Cocoa-Python project as research for my PyObjC
article. When I added a breakpoint and choose Debug, I find that
Xcode 3.0 just built and ran the project like normal. Rather
annoying as I really want Xcode to go into Debug mode.
Is this a known problem with Xcode 3.0 and PyObjC? Or am I missing
a setting or two somewhere? Just want to know before I file a bug
report.
Xcode does not currently support debugging scripting languages.
(Dashcode supports debugging JavaScript, but that doesn't help you.)
Please file a bug as an "enhancement request" if you would like to see
this functionality.
