OK, if you edit your code with NotePad, it will not be possible, as Notepad supports only "two chars" end of line...
So, even if Apple ports application on Windows (iTunes, QuickTime, Safari), I don't think they encounter this issue.

We're a consulting company, so we often receive source drops from external Windows developers. The last thing a client wants to hear is that they should change their line endings. We also work with legacy CodeWarrior projects that have all Mac line endings. There's always a fix for this, but it's usually an extra step, and is a distracting waste of time.


That said, Araxis Merge and Changes both look very interesting.
