Grey marks in line numbers

  • Subject: Grey marks in line numbers

If I compile code, get an error, fix the error, and then recompile, I sometimes get strange grey marks in my line numbers. These marks go away if I scroll the window a little bit.

A picture of this is attached, assuming the list lets me send attachments.

Is this common? Is there a way to prevent it?
