A simple question from my end.How do I upgrade the Xcode version

Download Xcode 2.5, follow the instructions in the release notes to
run uninstall-devtools.pl to remove your Xcode 2.1 tools, and install
Xcode 2.5 per the instructions.
Xcode 2.5 is the most recent Xcode for Tiger, I'd recommend using it
instead of 2.4 unless you have a very strong reason not to.
You can't install multiple versions of Xcode side-by-side on Tiger.
You can only do so on Leopard, starting with Xcode 2.5 and Xcode 3.0.
So if that's what you were really asking about, you're out of luck
unless you upgrade to Leopard and install Xcode 2.5.
