Forget it, I’ve found it again now, it was at http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/ObjCTutorial

Subject: Xcode 3.0 Tutorial

I’ve been an xcode user for many years, and have recently looked at moving to xcode 3.x

I’ve installed the latest xcode on Leopard on one of my Macs and have begun playing around at it, but I’m ashamed to say I’m falling at the first hurdle.

I’m trying to find a tutorial which I could swear I saw a few months back, which introduces the new xcode and IB  by means of working through a small application. For the life of me I cannot find that tutorial again now that I’ve come to look at Xcode 3.x again.

By following the links in the documentation I end up at ‘Xcode quick tour guide’ which walks you through the ‘convertor’ application – but it’s targeted at xcode 2.4 and later, and there are significant differences. For example when creating a subclass of NSView it says , “In the MainMenu.nib window, click Classes” – obviously in the latest xcode/ib there is no ‘classes’ tab in IB –so I’m lost already.

Can anyone point me to the latest tutorial, I’m pretty certain I saw one a few weeks ago!

Thanks in advance.

Kenny.
