debugging offscreen graphics

  • Subject: debugging offscreen graphics

I am calculating areas within manually drawn bezierpaths by counting coloured pixels in an NSView, If I stop the Xcode debugger with a breakpoint in the modal loop, the view is not refreshed on my monitor. Can some kind soul tell me how to make the debugger flush the current NSView to the window. At present I have to hack the code to terminate the loop which is both slow and error prone. _______________________________________________
