Well, I actually find the bubble quite useful because you can scroll
quickly through the file and the errors jump out at you - I just
can't read them. The red lines in the scrollbar would be useful but
they're nearly always way off in position. Due to the changes in
symbol visibility in Leopard, we get something like 4000 errors
every time we link against some thirdparty libraries, so the build
transcript is not an easy place to find errors any more. I always
like that message "Build succeeded: 4000 errors".
I don't like the bubbles and find it convenient to double-click from
the build results window. I no longer have 4000+ errors but can see
where the bubbles would be useful for your situation. If you want to
file a bug, I believe you'd have a better case if it was based on
legibility concerns related to the HIG or Accessibility Guidelines
rather than an "Xcode make me feel silly" kind of remark.
