I usually have success in loading my own app on my iPhone for testing, but all too often I get an alert,

"Your mobile device has encountered an unexpected error (0xE8000001) during the install phase: Copying file.
Try disconnecting and powering off the device; then power the device on and reconnect it."

Of course I follow instructions and reboot it, but it does no good. This morning I am failing 100% to load the app.

I see this about once or twice a week. The only thing that has worked for me is to restore the device. I've done it either with Xcode or iTunes and both work. I think that when it comes up in iTunes after the restore process you can tell it that it's not a new device but rather to sync with your saved settings and then you don't have to set the device up again.

I have no clue what gets munged that causes this.
