I have an IB plugin with a toolbar that needs to replace a window's content view during design-time in Interface Builder. I've worked out a way to do it that, although a bit hackish, has worked nicely until the most recent build of IB (1.1.1 672). In that build, after the window is given the new content view, IB will behave normally until the window is resized with the grow box - at which point IB hangs. Interestingly, it doesn't hang when the window size is adjusted with the inspector.
So my question is: should I consider this a bug in IB, or is there a better way of doing what I'm trying to do that doesn't have this problem?
Drag the toolbar on a window and check the "Alternate Content View" checkbox in the inspector. Then try to resize the window using the grow box in the bottom right corner. It'll hang at that point if you're using the latest IB build.
