I was afraid this was the reason. And since the iPhone SDK isn't available for non-Intel Macs, I'm out of luck. Thanks for the confirmation.

Although not supported by Apple there are reports that the SDK will install and run on non-Intel Macs. Google PPC and iPhone SDK for more info. Aside from that there may be other issues building a static library for use with the SDK.


Of course simplest might be just sending your source files to the guy.
