I apologize for the misinformation. That's what I get for jumping
into a discussion when I'm not feeling well and am away from my
development machine.
I will note, however, that since the included subproject does get
indexed by the main project, one can do things like use the Open
Quickly command or command-double-click a symbol defined by the
subproject to open the file containing its definition. That's not
exactly what Thomas is requesting, but perhaps it will mitigate his
discomfort.
