I am still new to Xcode & Objective C, I am trying to learn :-)
How can I find out what the user typed in a text field
And when a certain button from the nib is clicked speak the text
from the text field.
In other languages, like BASIC I either used a
Speak command + a string$
Or a Unix terminal command called Say –v Alex + a string$
If this needs to go on the Objective C mailing list I will send it
there
If someone tells me I posted this on the wrong list.
Thanks,

This should preferably be sent to the Cocoa list. However, Aaron
Hillegass book
Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X provides just the info you need.

On congratulations for a fantastic parody, the producer replies :
"What parody?"
